Seyed Ali Mirfattah was born in 1967 in Tehran. Most of his fame is due to his activities in the field of journalism. He started his career as a journalist from Soureh Weekly. He was working as an editor in this magazine since 1992. He was also the editor of Mehr Magazine since 1997. In the following years, he became the editor of other magazines such as Negah, Kargadan, as wel as Roozegar and Etemad Newspapers
In addition to journalism, Mirfattah has also authored several books, such as "Gate Dakhani" (2016) and "Shamsiyeh Landaniyeh" (2018), both published by Peydayesh. Mirftah has also worked as a screenwriter; for instance, the scripts for the documentary "Mannequins of Hassan Khan's Castle" (Sam Kalantari, 2015) and the television series "Memoirs of an Unfinished Man" (Sadegh Karamyar, 2012), which were broadcast on the One TV channel
